Dr. Kadish was educated at Loyola for his undergraduate studies where he recieved an award for Excellence and Leadership in the Community. After only 3 years of undergraduate work he was accepted to the oldest and most presigous and longest running podiatry school in the country, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. After graduating in 1995 he went on to do his residency at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, MI. Upon completion of his residency with extensive training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery he moved to Louisiana in 1997 and has been practicing in Metairie and LaPlace.
During the past 15 years of practice, Dr. Kadish had been Chief of Podiatry at Tulane (Lakeside Campus) and been assistant residency director helping to train future podiatric surgeons at Tulane and Ochsner Hospitals. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery since 2004. He has completed a Micro Surgical Nerve Course under the training of Dr. Lee Dellon, a world renoun specialist on nerve surgery and plastic surgery from Johns Hopkins University, to help treat Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy as well as Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome using the 4 tunnel release.
He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons, the American College of Orthopedics and Medicine and has served on the Executive Board of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association as Member-at-Large and as Secretary of the State Association.
Dr. Arjun Sandhu, DPM
Dr. Arjun Sandhu graduated from California State University in Biochemistry with honors. He then proceeded to obtain his doctorate degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. Dr. Sandhu completed a three year comprehensive foot and ankle residency in Albuquerque, NM.
During his residency, he worked with podiatric and orthopedic surgeons to treat a wide variety of foot and ankle pathology. During his surgical training, he participated in multiple specialized courses as well as a pediatric medical mission to Nicaragua. His surgical training encompassed the most up-to-date treatment options including: total ankle replacement, arthroscopic surgery, pediatric deformities, flatfoot reconstruction, and trauma. Patients seek out Dr. Sandhu as he is one of the few local podiatrists with experience performing total ankle replacements.
Dr. Sandhu believes quality patient care starts with communication and believes every patient deserves an honest, trustworthy provider who has his patient’s best interest at heart. In his free time, Dr. Sandhu enjoys outdoor recreational activities, playing with his dog, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Sandhu is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Sandhu is excited to serve the communities of Metairie, LaPlace, and Covington.
