Dr. Robert Kadish

Dr. Kadish was educated at Loyola for his undergraduate studies where he recieved an award for Excellence and Leadership in the Community.   After only 3 years of undergraduate work he was accepted to the oldest and most presigous and longest running podiatry school in the country, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991.  After graduating in 1995 he went on to do his residency at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, MI.  Upon completion of his residency with extensive training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery he moved to Louisiana in 1997 and has been practicing in Metairie and LaPlace. 

During the past 15 years of practice, Dr. Kadish had been Chief of Podiatry at Tulane (Lakeside Campus) and been assistant residency director helping to train future podiatric surgeons at Tulane and Ochsner Hospitals.  He is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery since 2004.  He has completed a Micro Surgical Nerve Course under the training of Dr. Lee Dellon, a world renoun specialist on nerve surgery and plastic surgery from Johns Hopkins University,  to help treat Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy as well as Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome using the 4 tunnel release. 

He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons, the American College of Orthopedics and Medicine and has served on the Executive Board of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association as Member-at-Large and as Secretary of the State Association.

Dr. Toddrick Tookes

Dr Tookes was educated at Valdosta State University for his undergraduate studies where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr Tookes went on to pursue his medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated with honor distinction in 2008. While in medical school, Dr Tookes received numerous scholarships and accolades which include achieving distinctions on the Dean's List, Presidents List, and earning acceptance into the prestigious “Pi Delta Honor Society”. After medial school, Dr Tookes went on to complete his 3 year Podiatric Medical & Surgical (PMS-36) residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY under the tutelage of Dr Guido A. LaPorta. Upon completion of his residency training in extensive forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery, Dr Tookes accepted a position to practice in Central Georgia for a year before ultimately deciding to serve our country as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. With 3 years of service of treating our Military Troops and Veterans, Dr Tookes has decided to make his home in New Orleans, LA and join the Foot Health Center, LLC to work alongside Dr Robert Kadish.

During the past 5years of practice, Dr Tookes has treated patients from all over the continental US and abroad. He served as Division Head and active member of the Limb Salvage Team at Naval Medical Center-San Diego. He was Division Officer of the Orthopedics/Podiatry Department at Naval Hospital Beaufort and Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island before deciding pursue a new venture in life.

Dr Tookes holds board certification from the Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine. Dr Tookes is currently a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology with Bako Labs in 2010 and did a 3 month rotation in Limb Deformity Correction at Sinai Hospital located in Baltimore, MD.
