Dr. Robert Kadish

Dr. Kadish was educated at Loyola for his undergraduate studies where he recieved an award for Excellence and Leadership in the Community.   After only 3 years of undergraduate work he was accepted to the oldest and most presigous and longest running podiatry school in the country, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991.  After graduating in 1995 he went on to do his residency at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, MI.  Upon completion of his residency with extensive training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery he moved to Louisiana in 1997 and has been practicing in Metairie and LaPlace. 

During the past 15 years of practice, Dr. Kadish had been Chief of Podiatry at Tulane (Lakeside Campus) and been assistant residency director helping to train future podiatric surgeons at Tulane and Ochsner Hospitals.  He is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery since 2004.  He has completed a Micro Surgical Nerve Course under the training of Dr. Lee Dellon, a world renoun specialist on nerve surgery and plastic surgery from Johns Hopkins University,  to help treat Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy as well as Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome using the 4 tunnel release. 

He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons, the American College of Orthopedics and Medicine and has served on the Executive Board of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association as Member-at-Large and as Secretary of the State Association.


Dr. Latif Nurudeen DPM

A native of Texas, Dr. Nurudeen grew up in Friendswood and attended the University of Baylor/North Texas for his undergraduate studies. He majored in Biology and minored Chemistry earning his Bachelor’s degree with honors while on full athletic scholarship for collegiate football. He then completed his medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated with honors in 2014.

After receiving his doctorate he underwent 3 years of residency training in comprehensive foot and ankle surgery at New York Harbor Healthcare Veterans Hospital. There he trained extensively foot, ankle and lower leg surgery, including elective and traumatic forefoot, hindfoot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Nurudeen has extensive training in total ankle arthroplasty and charcot reconstruction.

During his residency training, he completed numerous additional surgical training courses in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nurudeen continues to attend surgical courses to keep abreast of the latest surgical techniques and innovations.

He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons. Dr. Nurudeen enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife and identical twin boys.
